Warrior Creek Mercantile isn’t just a store — it’s a piece of Worth County history, brought back to life. Housed in the 1927 Miller Brothers Packing building, we bring together local artisans, collectors, and small businesses under one roof to create a destination filled with antiques, boutique apparel, home décor, and one-of-a-kind finds. We’re looking for a Retail Assistant who loves this town as much as we do, and who wants to help every customer who walks through our doors feel like they’ve found somewhere special.

What You’ll Do

• Greet every customer warmly and help them find what they’re looking for — or discover something they didn’t know they needed

• Ring up sales and handle transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system

• Keep the sales floor looking its best: tidy displays, well-merchandised booths, and clean, inviting spaces

• Restock shelves and help vendors keep their booths fresh and full

• Answer questions about products, vendors, and the building’s history with genuine enthusiasm

• Support seasonal events, sales, and special store hours (holidays, community events, etc.)

• Help process new inventory and vendor deliveries

• Assist with light cleaning and store upkeep to maintain a welcoming atmosphere

• Represent the Warrior Creek brand with warmth, patience, and local pride

What We’re Looking For

• A friendly, outgoing personality — you genuinely enjoy talking to people

• Reliability: you show up on time and follow through on commitments

• Comfort with basic retail tasks (cash handling, POS systems, light lifting/restocking)

• An eye for detail and pride in how a space looks and feels

• Ability to work some weekends and seasonal/holiday hours

• A love for antiques, vintage finds, local makers, or small-town retail is a big plus

• No prior retail experience required — we’ll train the right person
